Featuring works by Christopher Wool, Cecily Brown, Banksy, and others, the exhibition explored countercultural concepts and subversive artistic practices. Party, the iconic Guggenheim rotunda was transformed into a dance party featuring DJ sets, an open bar, and futuristic designs by artist and musician Farah Al Qasimi, as well as a celebration of the inaugural LG Guggenheim Award. The Paris-based fund became instrumental in developing the market for artists like Picasso and Matisse. In 1914, Level and his investors sold works from the fund at an evening auction held at the Hotel Drouot in Paris. The society-event would become the blueprint for future Christie's and Sotheby's Evening Auctions. Level returned 24% annual returns to his investors and a special dividend to the artists. Andre Level, while not widely known or celebrated, was the first to understand the potential of art as a viable investment vehicle, and now inspires the name of Masterworks’ first private art gallery.&nbsp; Level &amp; Co., offshoot of Masterworks (blue chip fine art investing platform), serves as a secondary market gallery that specializes in Post-War and Contemporary art from abstract expressionism to neo-expressionism to 21st century masters. Following this ideation was born the booklet, zine, or whatever you’d call it: Just My Type.&nbsp; Just My Type is an interactive booklet and kit used to educate its users about the basics of typography, typographic history, and how typography is designed and utilized. Kit includes the risograph printed booklet, stencil, serif sticker sheet, buttons, and interactive poster. Topics covered in the booklet include the structure of typography, and anatomy of letterforms, as well as basic skills for using type (kerning, drawing, pairing, and classifying fonts). Using hands-on exercises and practices, users will gain an understanding of what type is and how to use it! The Morrow tests uncomfortably in finding unique ways to represent the class of 2022 as individuals inside and outside of the graphic design program. The Morrow is a nostalgic, yet post-modern design aesthetic featuring individualized aspects that show diversity through personal experience. We, as designers, take our personal experiences in and out of class and apply them to our Senior Capstone projects to create something uniquely us. The Senior Show Exhibition team included of myself, led by Professor Taekyeom Lee, and students: Lindsay Castleman, Hannah Fultz, Madeline Lickteig, Kayleen Mercer, Darbi Shaw,&nbsp; Lauren Wadle, and Tian Yao (MFA Candidate).
